Shipping Details

1. Courier Service

We offer several courier services, including:
– FedEx, DHL, TNT, Aramex, UPS, USPS, Skynet, etc.

These services typically take 3 to 7 business days for delivery, depending on the mode (express or economy). For small orders, valuable items, samples, or urgent shipments, express or economy modes are ideal. Courier services are more expensive compared to other delivery methods. These couriers act as your customs agent, releasing the shipment and delivering it to your doorstep within the provided timeframe. If any customs duties apply, they will notify you of the charges and guide you on how to pay them.

2. Air Freight

Air freight is another popular shipping option that is cost-effective, timely, and reliable worldwide. This service is suitable for bulk purchases over 45 kg, though it becomes more economical for packages weighing 100 kg or more. Shipping costs decrease as the weight increases (e.g., 300 kg+, 500 kg+, 1000 kg+). The shipping cost per unit of weight declines with higher quantities.

Air freight charges are determined by either the actual weight or the volumetric weight (whichever is greater). The formula for calculating volumetric weight is:

(Lengthcm×Widthcm×Heightcm)/6000=VolumetricWeight(kg)(Length cm × Width cm × Height cm) / 6000 = Volumetric Weight (kg)

Once the package arrives at the nearest airport (based on the recipient’s address or recommendation), the receiver or their customs handling agent must clear customs and collect the goods. We will assist with coordination as needed.

3. EMS or Registered Postal Service

EMS and government postal services are other options for shipping parcels. Delivery time typically ranges from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the destination. This option is suitable for sending small parcels (under 20 kg) or samples at a lower cost, and it’s ideal when shipping speed isn’t urgent.

4. Land Sea Cargo

As Nepal is a landlocked country, land-sea cargo can take 40 to 75 days after dispatch from Kathmandu, depending on the destination, climate, and geographical factors. Sea cargo pricing is based on CBM (Cubic Meter) rather than the weight of the package. To calculate the CBM:

(Lengthcm×Widthcm×Heightcm)/1,000,000=TotalCBM(Length cm × Width cm × Height cm) / 1,000,000 = Total CBM

Typically, the minimum requirement for sea cargo is 2 CBM. The standard container sizes available from Nepal are:

  1. 20ft container (approximately 27-28 CBM)

  2. 40ft container (approximately 56-58 CBM)
